Course Description
IH Cairo provides Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), which is the written language of Arabic. It is derived from Classic Arabic which is the language of the Holy Quran, and it is a ‘living’ language, used by educated people and scholars. MSA or ‘Fus’ha’ is used in academia and formal media such as newspapers, meaning that as students’ progress they develop the ability to follow Middle Eastern current affairs and read Arabic Literature and Islamic texts.
