There is no problematic language, if you want to learn German, you can.

German is a new language that you can learn quickly. The German language belongs to the family of Western Germanic languages such as English, Afrikaans, and Dutch.

German and English are closely related, which makes learning your German not so tricky. What are the ways that help you learn it? There are countless ways in which you can learn and master the language.

Here are the eight most important ways to learn the German language:

1. Hear and Repeat the Sounds of German Letters

Start learning the German alphabet and listen to the sound of each letter on its own compared to the letter combinations. Listen to the differences between English and German letter sounds as well. Just as in English, two letters together can be quite different in pronunciation than either of the two letters alone.

2. Learn Some Easy Words

After you’ve mastered the alphabet, it’s time to learn a few words.

These words will form the basis for building your vocabulary. Think of words that you can’t do without in English and find their German counterparts.

For example:

Greetings in German

Yes / No

Please / thank you

Excuse me / sorry

3.Expand Your Vocabulary with Nouns, Verbs, and Adjectives

Once you’ve learned a few basics, it’s time to expand your vocabulary of names, verbs, and adjectives.

Try to set yourself a daily goal – for example, learn three new titles, verbs, and articles (nine words in total) each day.

4. Start Putting Sentences Together

After you’ve learned some German words, it’s time to use these words and put them in sentences.

First, learn the correct way of arranging words, then form sentences using the right order to build German sentences. You can use a German teacher to help you with this exercise.

5. Watching Movies in German

Once you can understand the basics of the German language, you can add new methods of learning and improve your language skills.

One of the best and most enjoyable ways is to watch movies. At first, you can watch the film with English subtitles to make it easier, then you can watch it again with German subtitles.

6. Read News in German

After watching German films, you will have better-listening skills and your language level will also increase.

The next step is reading skills. Reading German newspaper columns is an effective way to learn. Collect the words you do not understand and search the dictionary for the meaning of those words.

Read widely.

Read everything you can get.

Try to improve your reading level progressively, as this helps you increase your vocabulary. You can read from multiple sources, but try to read sources that use grammar and spelling; this will help you learn the language correctly.

7. Listen to the Podcast

You can learn German on the go.

As an alternative way to focus on pronouncing your German during entertainment, podcasts are a great and fun way to learn German. You can listen to lessons about German idioms and even some words.

8. Communication with German Speakers

Communication with native speakers helps you speak more and also listen.

There are many sites on the internet that provide service to communicate with native speakers of the language. Also, you can book a training course at one of the accredited centres that teach German with German teachers.
